BET IN MIAMI
The Argentine Football Association (AFA) continues to strengthen its international presence with a clear focus on the United States, the new epicenter of football's growth. Miami, in particular, has become the central hub of its initiatives, with a series of actions that underscore the organization's commitment to the development of the sport and its connection with local communities.
One of the main developments was the official announcement of the AFA International Center, a large-scale project in collaboration with North Bay Village and the Miami-Dade School District. The launch event took place on June 13 at the Treasure Island School athletic field, and featured Claudio "Chiqui" Tapia and local officials, who highlighted the importance of this new space.
The complex will be dedicated not only to high-performance training but also to strengthening social and educational ties with the community. With modern, multifunctional facilities, the center will offer sports programs, cultural workshops, and activities for youth and families, reflecting the vision of an AFA with strong roots and global reach.
Two days later, on June 15, the AFA hosted another significant event at Chase Stadium in Fort Lauderdale. In collaboration with Más+, the health drink promoted by Lionel Messi, a family event was held in celebration of Father's Day, bringing together sports figures, brand representatives, and federation officials in a relaxed and festive atmosphere. As a special part of the celebration, the Miamix team was invited by the organization, actively participating in the activities and sharing the experience with leading figures in Argentine soccer.
These actions take place in an unbeatable context for soccer in Miami, a city that will be key to the 2026 World Cup with seven scheduled matches, including a quarterfinal and the third-place playoff. It will also host the 2025 Club World Cup, further positioning the city as a hub for international soccer.
Through concrete investments, high-impact collaborations, and a national identity that transcends borders, the AFA reaffirms its role as one of the most dynamic federations on the planet. In its dual role as world champion and ambassador of Argentine soccer, its presence in Miami is much more than symbolic: it is a firm commitment to the future of the sport globally.
