Valeria Corti

The Power Of Running And Growing

Valeria Corti was born in Buenos Aires on July 21, during the cool Argentine winter. From her childhood, movement was an essential part of her life: she practiced Taekwondo, artistic gymnastics, volleyball, and swimming. But it was only in the early 2000s that she discovered something beyond physical activity: she found in running a form of freedom. Running became her own space, a passion that connects her with the landscape, her body, and a community of people who share the same love for movement, regardless of the weather, time, or city.

Over time, Valeria found her best version in the 21-kilometer races. She learned that sustaining this distance requires much more than endurance: it involves rest, mindful nutrition, consistent training, and strength work. As a mother of two children and a personal trainer, she has achieved that seemingly impossible balance of caring, working, and training through discipline and focus.

Although she has not yet run a marathon (the traditional master distance of 42 kilometers), Valeria has faced challenges that few dare to attempt. One of the most memorable was her participation in El Cruce, a 100-kilometer mountain race that crosses the Andes mountain range. She describes it as a physical and mental overcoming experience that left a lasting mark on her.
