In the vibrant framework of the Ibero American Film Festival Miami, the local art scene experienced one of its most intimate and significant days with the official presentation of the book Meisner Technique + Combined Resources: From Text to Truth by actress and director Constanza Espejo. A work destined to become essential reading for performers and creators who seek to work from authenticity, organicity and stage presence.
The evening was organized by We Art Foundation, which brought together artists, filmmakers, students and art lovers for a meeting that combined literature, film and collective reflection. The event also included a special screening of Después del Final, followed by an exclusive Q&A with its director Pablo César and part of the cast, creating an intimate atmosphere where the audience could dialogue directly about creative processes and artistic sensibilities.
The spirit of the meeting was clear: to celebrate two projects in conversation with each other. On the one hand, a cinematographic work that reflects on the human bond and its emotional dimension, and on the other, a book that proposes a renovating method to reach the scenic truth without resorting to the emotional sacrifice of the interpreter. An evening that was experienced as a bridge between arts, generations and views.

Finally, they provide emotional support and resources to parents, helping them guide their children through this important process of growth and development.

Dami Tejerina
Argentine Rhythm
We had the pleasure of meeting Dami Tejerina in South Beach on a sunny afternoon filled with good vibes. The Argentine DJ arrived in Miami in the middle of a busy tour, and we took the opportunity to chat about his career, his beginnings, and everything he has to offer. With a constant smile and a sense of humility, Dami shared details about his life behind the turntables and his passion for making people dance.
The conversation flowed naturally. Dami recalled his first parties in Buenos Aires, where he started DJing with borrowed equipment and a lot of enthusiasm. He told us that those were years of learning, late nights, and a constant search for his own sound. Today, that sound takes him to different cities around the world, but always with a distinctly Argentine touch.
He also spoke to us about his tours in Latin America and Europe, where audiences welcome him with open arms. “Every city has its own energy,” he said, “and that's what motivates me to keep creating. The connection with people is everything.”
María José
The Voice That Never Stops
In an exclusive interview with MIAMIX, María José, known as " La Josa ," opened her heart to us in an intimate conversation. With her trademark authenticity, the Mexican singer, dancer, and actress shared her story, from her beginnings as part of the iconic group Kabah to her present as an established solo artist and proud mother.
Recalling her first steps in music at 16, María José confessed that she always dreamed of packed venues. “The more people there are, the more I feel encouraged to give my all,” she told us. Inspired by her mother's determination, she spoke to us about the importance of standing firm in the face of fame without compromising her family's privacy. “They don't talk about me much because I have nothing to hide. The press likes to follow those who don't want to be talked about,” she noted with humor and candor.
One of the most exciting moments of her career was opening for Rihanna, a milestone she recalled with a mixture of adrenaline and uncertainty. “I was excited, of course, but I also understood that the audience hadn't come to see me. You have to give it your all and get out fast,” she said with a smile.

Music and inclusion came together for a deeply emotional day with talented percussionist Brenda Navarrete and the children of the Supreme Twins Foundation. With Latin rhythms and live percussion, the gathering became a unique experience filled with smiles, hugs, and a moving rendition of "Happy Birthday" that left a lasting impression on everyone present.
From the very beginning, Brenda connected with the children with a natural warmth. Her contagious energy and the power of her drums sparked excitement and participation. Music became a common language that broke down barriers and allowed each child to express themselves freely and joyfully.
One of the most memorable moments was when everyone joined together to sing and play to the rhythm of a special celebration. It was more than a song: it was a manifestation of love and community. In those minutes, the true value of this experience was epitomized, where everyone could feel seen and valued.

The daughter of legendary comedian Alberto Olmedo, Sabrina not only inherited her father's charisma and grace, but also his love for art and the stage. Although she had numerous television and theater roles in her beloved Argentina, it was in the United States where she found widespread recognition. Sabrina became known throughout Latin America thanks to her participation in Spanish-language telenovelas, working with prestigious networks such as Telemundo, Univisión, and Televisa.
Her charisma and talent quickly positioned her as a leading figure in the genre, starring in stories that captivated millions of viewers.
Valeria Schapira

The Argentine Consulate General and Promotion Center in Miami hosted a special event where journalist and writer Valeria Schapira shared her latest book with the public. The event brought together readers, friends, and literature lovers in a relaxed and highly participatory atmosphere.
With her approachable and charismatic style, Valeria spoke about the spirit of her new work, which invites reflection and self-discovery. Known for her ability to connect with people's emotions, the author also shared anecdotes from her creative process and encouraged those present to view life's challenges with optimism and resilience.
The event was produced by Silvina Fuentes, who has promoted numerous cultural gatherings in Miami that bring the Argentine and Latin American communities closer to literary, artistic, and musical figures.
