Our home during this adventure was Gran Meliá Iguazú @granmeliaiguazu, a hotel that redefines luxury in the heart of nature. Located inside the Iguazú National Park, it’s the only hotel with direct views of the waterfalls, yes, you can actually see the water cascading right from your room! Falling asleep to the roar of the falls and waking up to that view is something you’ll never forget.
Among the must-do experiences, we walked along the park’s trails until we reached the Devil’s Throat, an 80-meter waterfall that takes your breath away. But the most thrilling moment was the Gran Aventura @iguazu.jungle excursion, a 4x4 ride through the jungle that ends in boats going right under the falls. Getting soaked there, feeling the power of that water crashing over you, is one of those things that makes you feel alive.
