Tulum has become one of the most sought‑after destinations in the Mexican Caribbean, and it is easy to see why. This jewel of the Riviera Maya combines the natural beauty of white‑sand beaches with the mystique of its ancestral history, creating a unique experience that captivates travelers from around the world. Its hypnotic turquoise waters and postcard‑perfect scenery have made this a special place where nature and culture meet in harmony.

Before becoming the trendy destination it is today, Tulum was a quiet fishing village with a small archaeological zone known to few. For decades, it remained a well‑kept secret among backpackers and alternative travelers looking to escape the mass tourism of Cancún and Playa del Carmen.

The difference is in the details

Our recent experience traveling from Miami to Buenos Aires in Boliviana de Aviación's Business Class was, without a doubt, a memorable trip. From the moment we boarded the Airbus A330-200, we knew this would be no ordinary flight. Boliviana's Business Class is not just a means of transportation; it's an experience designed to make every minute on board as pleasant as the destination that awaited us.

Throughout the flight, we were surprised by how well-thought-out the details were to ensure comfort. The Business Class cabin, with its twin-aisle layout, features 20 luxury seats that recline fully 180°. This allows me to rest as if I were in my own bed. The seats also have intuitive touch panels that allowed me to easily adjust the recline and extend the leg rest, which was essential for feeling completely relaxed.

Thanks to a special invitation, the MIAMIX team had the opportunity to enjoy a round trip to Orlando on the modern Brightline train, specifically in its Premium class, and we can assure you that the experience exceeded all our expectations. From the first moment at Miami Central Station, the experience felt exclusive and fluid. Priority access to the Premium lounge, with continental breakfast, drinks and a relaxed atmosphere, marked the beginning of a comfortable and elegant trip.

Brightline is currently the only high-speed rail service connecting South Florida with Orlando, linking the cities of Miami, Aventura, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, West Palm Beach, and Orlando. This modern rail line has redefined travel in the state, offering an efficient and stress-free alternative to the usual traffic on I-95 and the Florida Turnpike.

Where luxury meets the nature

Miamix took us to one of those places that remind you how incredible our planet can be: Iguazú Argentina. A destination where the jungle, the water, and the sky seem to come together perfectly to leave you speechless. 

Our home during this adventure was Gran Meliá Iguazú @granmeliaiguazu, a hotel that redefines luxury in the heart of nature. Located inside the Iguazú National Park, it’s the only hotel with direct views of the waterfalls —yes, you can actually see the water cascading right from your room! Falling asleep to the roar of the falls and waking up to that view is something you’ll never forget.

Sailing in style

When most people think of a cruise, what usually comes to mind are long buffet lines, packed crowds, and rigid schedules. But Virgin Voyages has set out to completely redefine what it means to travel by sea. We had the pleasure of boarding the stunning Valiant Lady, one of their signature ships, departing from Miami and setting sail toward two Caribbean gems: Turks and Caicos and The Bahamas.

One of the most notable features is the high-end culinary approach. Forget the buffet, Virgin Voyages offers over 20 unique, elevated eateries, each with its own distinct concept and chef-driven menu. From futuristic Asian fusion to high-end steakhouses, Mediterranean tapas, and specialty cafés, every meal becomes a destination in itself.
